Kiosk Technology

Trolley House Markets are true convenience store in that you are able to shop for just about anything within the walls of your own office. Your office break room is complemented by a space stocked with nutritious vending options that you can check out on a self serve basis – without needing cash! Check out machines – the Kiosk machines – are compact towers that occupy less than two square feet of floor space and need just one power cord (110V) with a Cat5 or better network connection. They use ReadyTouch™ software which is the leading technology in the self-service industry! Each Kiosk is physically secure. It requires a key to access any component. There are no keyboards or USB connections, or other access connections that are externally available. The kiosks also do not accept cash, so there is no need for emptying the machine.

The technology and equipment necessary for your new in office convenience store is really quite straightforward. All you need to do is find the convenience store space!

Network

Trolley House Markets are run on highly secure and stable networks that are encrypted through a Virtual Private Network tunnel (VPN).
Practically all of the data processing is done locally and only minimal data transfers - for card authorizations, data synchronization and periodic updates- are required via the network assuring minimal bandwidth usage.

Security

Trolley House Markets ultimately are private convenience stores exclusively available for your employees – that in itself is a pretty strong built-in security system! Nonetheless, to ensure that products are not stolen, we rely on the Kiosk Technology to work in parallel with a 24-hour security camera system.

Your new convenience store will be monitored 24-hours a day by the security system. Proper signs will be placed throughout the office break room to inform users they are being recorded by security cameras.

In the event that shoplifting incidents occur, we do not hold the business responsible for the loss. We simply inform the contact of the inventory discrepancy and ask if they would like to have a video snapshot to help resolve the issue. Locations are free to pursue any actions they would like regarding how to handle the person(s) responsible. If the business does not want a video snapshot we may simply ask to increase security camera signage or request a company email be sent out.
