This past February, Groovin Gourmets had the pleasure of providing the delicious edibles for the 5th annual Be Mine Ball at the Science Museum of Virginia. A great venue and a great cause make for a great event! Prevent Child Abuse Virginia organizes the annual Be Mine Ball to help raise to support their mission of preventing child abuse and neglect. The event was hosted in the museum's Rotunda. Around the compass there were the silent auction items, and we placed bars, appetizers, and action food stations throughout the space. King Edwards and the BD’s provided just the right amount of groovin' music, while the photo booth was there to capture all of the memories. The guests danced the night away while enjoying sweet potato biscuits topped with Virginia ham, swiss cheese, and apple butter. They also got to enjoy Chesapeake crab cakes with spicy remoulade and made to order risotto just to name a few of the great items served that night. We look forward to be a part of this great event in the future.
