This week we are featuring a delightful little cocktail called the Pear Sour. This cocktail is made with pear brandy and pear nectar for a light and fruity taste without being overly sweet. Our drink of the week can be served with any course but we recommend it for pre-dinner hors d’oeuvres. This drink is perfect for guests that enjoy cocktails that don’t like an overly strong taste of alcohol. If you can’t get your hands on the real thing, we recommend you infuse your own brandy with pears. Or if you are short on time substitute with Absolut Pear. No matter which route you chose to go, this cocktail will leave your taste buds satisfied!
Recipe:
2 ounces pear brandy
2 ounces pear nectar
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
1 pear slice for garnish
