Sadly we are halfway through the summer so our days of summer dining a la fresco are numbered. But don't fret! It’s still not too late to plan a summer get together for your family and friends. Why not embrace the middle of summer and host a midsummer night’s dinner party? With the heat comes the desire for light refreshing cuisine that embodies the flavors of the season so we have put together our perfect midsummer menu for your soiree!

Signature Cocktail
Smoked peach old-fashioned garnished with thyme

Hors d’oeuvres
Grilled flat breads with local artisan cheeses and olives

Salad
Arugula, watermelon and feta salad

Main Course
Marinated grilled flank steak over a bed of mixed local greens served with herb roasted fingerling potato salad

Dessert
Fresh berries with mascarpone

For décor ideas your options are both unlimited and easy! Pass food on wooden planks or serve in wooden bowls. Decorate your outdoor space with simple strands of string lights. Set a long table that everyone can sit at together and easily pass courses. On the table use summer floral arrangements or keep it simple with lots of candles and white linens. To keep your guests entertained, consider setting up croquet and bocce ball for your guests to play.
