At Groovin’ Gourmets we don’t let the impending weather slow us down! We find a way to get to our clients in the heat, rain, snow and any other elements Mother Nature wants to throw our way. Even though we don't break for snow that doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate the occasional snow day! There is nothing quite like that feeling of nostalgia when you first see those pretty white flakes falling from the sky. With the weather forecast calling for snow, we know kids have their fingers crossed for snow and parents have their hands full. So when life hands you snow what do you do? You make some snow cream. Below we have provided a recipe and directions for your next snow day activity! Snow cream is just not just about a creamy delicious treat, it’s also about spending quality time together gathering the snow and making a treat. So if we do get that snow make yourself a big ol’ batch of snow cream and remind yourself, spring will be here before you know!
Recipe:
1 gallon snow
1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups of milk
Sprinkles
Directions:
1. When it starts to snow, place a large, clean bowl outside to collect the flakes. When full, stir in sugar and vanilla to taste, then stir in just enough milk for the desired consistency. Serve at once.
