Pocahontas State Park, only 30 minutes from downtown Richmond, is the ideal location for any memorable occasion. The park has several wooded outside spots that are excellent for a beautiful occasion. The Beaver Lake Overlook and the Swift Creek Overlook both have tranquil lily pad-covered lakes as backgrounds. The Civilian Conservation Corps Memorial Garden is placed in a lovely forested setting with easy parking nearby.
